Golden Apricot at TUMO

It’s almost time for The Golden Apricot Film Festival and we’re excited to host a series of master classes and screenings at TUMO Yerevan.

Master Classes

July 11th, 4:00 pm
Fred Kelemen
Director, cinematographer, member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Kelemen has worked with Joseph Pitchhadze, Béla Tarr, and others. He’s had his work shown at the Anthology Film Archives in New York, the Tate Modern in London, Hungarian National Cinema and other cinemas and museums.

July 12th, 4:00 pm
Eugene Corr
Screenwriter and director Eugene Corr worked as a factory worker and various other jobs until the age of 26. His career in film began in 1973. He directed the films “Over-Under, Sideways-Down,” and “Waldo Salt: A Screenwriter's Journey,” (which was also nominated for an Academy Award).

July 13th, 4:00 pm
Tom Fassaert
Director Tom Fassaert is best known for his films “Angel in Doel” and “A Family Affair.” The latter was recently picked up by Netflix. Fassaert was also named ‘One of the Ten Docu-makers to Watch' by Variety.
